The Wealthonauts Adventures

Children’s Financial Education Books

A twelve-book series about money, banking, homes, investing and business — from first coins to futures.

Goldie, the Wealthonauts money history companion

The Wealthonauts Adventures is a series of children’s financial education books for readers ages 4 and up. All twelve titles are available now as eBooks you read online right after checkout, one at a time or as the complete digital set, with paperbacks to follow. Each title follows Captain Coin, Professor Ledger, Nova and Goldie through one part of the money universe, from the history of money to mortgages, the Federal Reserve, the stock market and starting a business.

Each age is a starting point, not a limit. A book or lesson marked 8+ is written so an 8-year-old can follow it — and plenty of teens and adults are meeting these ideas for the first time, too. If a topic is new to you, start wherever it makes sense. Anyone can learn this.

Read the book, then take the matching lessons

Every book matches lessons in the Wealthonauts courses, included in All-Access.

  1. Step 1

    Read it

A Wealthonauts book turns the idea into a story you read together — in paperback or as an eBook read online, at bedtime or in class.

  2. Step 2

    Learn it

The matching lesson explains the real concept at your child’s reading level, then checks it with a short quiz.

  3. Step 3

    Play it

The game lets kids try the decision themselves with pretend money. Mistakes cost nothing, and they see the result right away.

Why books and games?

Reading and playing do different jobs. A story makes an idea memorable and gives you something to read and talk about together. A game lets kids practice the decision — spend or save, raise the price or lower it — and see what happens. Every book points to its matching lesson and game, so a child can go from the story straight to practice.

Example: The Stock Market Adventure (book) → What Is a Share of Stock? (lesson) → Stock Market Game (game)

  • Age-ranged: picture books for young readers and deeper chapter books for teens.
  • Connected: every title links to matching lessons, games and printable worksheets on this site.
  • Original: all characters and stories are created by Wealthonauts.
